2nd Place... AGAIN.

Junior lost the championship. Crud.

On another note, I'm staying at Port St. Lucie right now, at my aunt Maria and uncle Mauricio's house. It's so quiet and peaceful here, I can really hear my thoughts. I've also helped around, trying to be as useful as possible, and up to now, I've had no problems.

My relatives here are quite different from the rest of my family. My aunt Maria is 5 years younger than my mother, but she totally acts like an older sister to me. I truly trust her, as she knows what's the deal with my stuff. On the other hand, my uncle Mauricio has been a father figure in my life, along with my stepdad and my friend Ivan, who in truth is more of a big brother. My uncle and I are remarkably similar in many things, and he has a REALLY nice singing voice. No. Kidding.

In fact, yesterday was his birthday, and I was the 1st person to sing the (in)famous song to him. My aunt cooked pasta and an EXTREMELY SWEET cake. I'm still surprised I didn't have a sugar high, because devil's food cake + condensed milk + Heath bars/Butterfinger bars + whipped cream topping = Sugar overload. I still remember and I shudder.

Also, I make use of my BLOG to officially declare I AM TOTALLY, UTTERLY, FANTASTICALLY SICK OF ALL THE MICHAEL JACKSON NEWS ON THE MEDIA. Some people act as if the world had ended. New flash, people: The world is still here, without a singer. Makes me glad I don't really watch much TV, because it seriously bores me to death.

This week's song: Don't Worry, Be Happy -Bobby McFerrin. This song is not just hilarious, but very contagious. My aunt was angry at me because I whistled the time and it got stuck in her head. Heh.
